Please join us at our home to welcome Dr. and Mrs. Ghadamali Sarami who are visiting their son, Chekad Sarami & his family! Dr. Sarami has kindly accepted to give a series of five (5) talks entitled: "A window towards Shahnameh"

نشست ۲: حرف حساب شاهنامه
شاهنامه نمودار آن است که جهان از اضداد آفریده آمده است و این اضداد از روی ظاهر باهم در ستیزند و از روی باطن با هم همدل و هم داستانند.
نشست ۳: زن در شاهنامه فردوسی
زنان در عین داشتن مقام شایسته ای که دارند، در روندهای عاشقانه و مهربانی نقش‌های اصلی شان را بازی می‌کنند. زن نماد خانواده، حقیقت خون و اصل پیوستگی است. خویشاوندی انگیزه اصلی در زندگی آنان است.
نشست ۴: نامه رستم فرخزاد به برادرش و سازوکارهای آن
رستم دراین نامه نشان می‌دهد که روزگار در زمان‌های مختلف، نقشهای متفاوت برای ملت‌ها پیش می‌آورد و موجبات زوال خاندان‌‌ها به همان‌گونه که برون کار آمدن دودمان‌ها کارکرد اصلی زمان است.

About Dr. Sarami: Dr. Sarami is a poet, writer, songwriter, and an expert in Rumi, Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh, Bayhaghi’s History, Hafez, and Sa’di. He is currently an associate professor of Persian literature and language in Iran. Dr. Sarami has written over 35 books on Persian literature, poetry, and children literature. He was member of the American Institute of Iranian Studies and a Visiting Research Fellow at the UNC-Chapel Hill in spring 2013. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Ferdowsi Foundation. Dr. Sarami was named recipient of Professor Aghabezgar's research award as one of the top five masters of Shahnameh in 2011. His book "From the Color of Flower to the Sting of Thorn: The morphology of the tales of Shahnameh" was selected as the only admirable book in literature by the Council of The Best Book of The Year of the Ministry of Culture in Iran.

Live music by Chekad Sarami (Violin), Siavash Pourfazli (Tar), and Nader Peyravian (Tombak) will be performed following the speech.
